Pioneer Park and Dixie Rock
Climb among red-rock formations, explore short desert trails and enjoy panoramic views across St. George. Dixie Rock, also known as the Sugarloaf, is one of the city’s most recognizable overlooks.

Guest tip: The sandstone terrain is steep, uneven and exposed. Wear sturdy shoes, supervise children closely and avoid climbing on wet rock.

Red Hills Desert Garden
Wander through five acres of water-efficient desert landscaping featuring thousands of plants, a replica slot canyon, native fish and prehistoric dinosaur tracks.
